The 1985 MBA class from Harvard Business School generously established the Brendan Kutler Executive Education Fellowship, in honor of Brendan and his love of helping people. The fund is designed to help executives from non-profit enterprises/NGOs so they can attend Harvard Business School and become even stronger leaders.

The Brendan Kutler Executive Education Fellowship was established through the generosity of the MBA Class of 1985 on the occasion of their 30th Reunion, in memory of classmate Jon Kutler’s son. This fund will support leaders from social enterprise organizations participating in one of the School’s Executive Education programs. Brendan Kutler, a high school senior at the time of his passing, had a deep thirst for knowledge. His interests were vast: he played varsity tennis, was an editor for his school’s international journal, helped launch a stocks club, and participated in the rocketry club, model UN, robotics club, and computer science club. He was one of 40 American high school students selected for a Japanese cultural exchange program. Focused on helping and promoting others, not himself, Brendan’s motto was “None of us is as smart as all of us.”
